Wirey Receive Labels is a Shopify app provided by Wirey Playground. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to merchants.

1. Information we collect

Information received from Shopify

When you install and use Wirey Receive Labels, the app receives information from Shopify that is necessary to provide its barcode label functionality.

This may include:

• Your Shopify store identifier and store domain.
• Inventory transfer, shipment and receiving information.
• Receipt identifiers and received or accepted quantities.
• Product and variant information.
• Product titles and variant titles.
• SKUs.
• Existing barcode values.
• Product or variant prices where required for label output.

Wirey Receive Labels is designed to access only the Shopify data required to generate and manage barcode labels.

Merchant customer data

Wirey Receive Labels does not require access to Shopify customer names, customer email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, billing addresses, or payment information in order to provide its core functionality.

App usage information

We may store limited information about how your store uses the app, including:

• The number of labels generated.
• Which receipt or receiving event labels were generated for.
• Quantities already printed for a receipt.
• Your app plan and monthly usage.
• Technical logs, errors and diagnostic information.

This information helps the app avoid duplicate label generation, enforce plan limits, diagnose errors and improve reliability.

Billing information

Paid subscriptions are processed through Shopify’s billing system. Wirey Receive Labels does not receive or store your credit card or other payment-card details.

We may store your subscription status, plan and related Shopify billing identifiers so that the app can determine which features and usage limits apply to your store.

Information you provide to us

If you contact us for support, we may receive information such as your name, email address, store domain and any information you choose to include in your support request.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide the Wirey Receive Labels service.
• Display Shopify receiving information inside the app.
• Calculate how many labels still need to be generated.

• Track labels already generated for a receipt.

3. How we share information

We may use trusted service providers to operate the app, such as hosting, database, logging and infrastructure providers.

Shopify processes information according to its own terms and privacy policies when merchants use the Shopify platform.

4. Data retention

We retain store-specific information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain security, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

When a merchant uninstalls Wirey Receive Labels, store-specific app data is scheduled for deletion or anonymization within 30 days, except where certain information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.

5. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Wirey Receive Labels.

Data transmitted between Shopify, the app and our infrastructure is protected using encrypted connections where supported. Access to production systems and stored app information is restricted to those who require it to operate and support the service.

6. International data processing

Our infrastructure or service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you or your business is located.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for transfers of personal information between jurisdictions.

7. Privacy requests

Depending on applicable law, merchants and individuals may have rights relating to their personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion.

Shopify also requires public apps to support Shopify’s mandatory privacy and data-subject request mechanisms.

8. Cookies and tracking

Wirey Receive Labels does not use merchant or customer information for behavioral advertising.

The Wirey Playground website may use standard technical cookies, server logs or analytics tools used to operate and understand usage of the website.

Wirey Receive Labels is a business application intended for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, our infrastructure, legal requirements or Shopify platform requirements.
